About Me

walterrsmith
This used to be a closed blog; a social media “Letters To Karen”…to capture a few thoughts for my kids to consider. However, managing a closed blog has turned out to be unwieldy, to say the least. So, it's now open. However, I will generally ignore comments from folks who aren't close friends of the family. I'm not interested in rehashing stuff that's already been beaten to death in other places. I try to speak to truth in love, and to do so in as humble a spirit as possible. I understand that my knowledge is incomplete and imperfect (critical realism), but believe that we all possess knowledge that we daily "bet our life on." Although I try to be balanced in considering various perspectives, I don't have the time or space to be exhaustive. All comments will be moderated… polite discussion is encouraged, arguing is not.
